
Tornado Outbreak, December 10–11, 2021
The 2021 Hurricane season is officially over, but extreme weather can still manifest in the way of tornadoes for the Southern US.
Although both have a similar structure and are characterized by extremely strong horizontal winds swirling around the centre, tornadoes are “small-scale circulations” not exceeding more than one mile in diameter.
A tornado is a violently rotating column of air in contact with the cloud base and the ground, often visible as a funnel cloud
